"High D" or High Density Liners
High Density Liners are made of a plastic with a Higher Molecular Density. This means that the molecules are arranged in a more dense manner. This material makes a stronger liner with less material. They cost less and are well accepted.
The Bag Thickness is measured in Microns.
One Micron = 1000th of a millimeter.
(8 mic = 8 microns)
The Colors are :
Natural (semi transparent) Opaque
Black (less than semi trasparent).
"Linear Low" or Low Density Liners
Low Density Liners are made of a plastic with a Lower Linear Molecular Density. This means that the molecules are arranged in a less dense manner. This material makes a bag with a stronger resistance to puncture. These bags have more material in them and cost more.
The Bag Thickness is measured in Mils.
One Mil = 1000th of an inch
( 1.5 Mil = 1.5 thousandths of an inch)
The Colors are :
Black, Gray, White, Red & (all colors)
